This motivational, provocative talk is based on my article of the same name, as published in Permaculture Magazine and which won the Ooffoo Laureate 2008.

I was at your talk last night. It was wonderful to find myself at such an event, you were so uplifting. Much of what you said touched on themes that are familiar to me, however I have never ever come across such generosity, such natural warmth. I felt that you were there for the greater good, that you had no personal agenda, that you were not out to get something or that you were doing something with the hope that a reward might happenchance appear as a result. That I found truly inspiring. Thank you.

How To Find And Follow Your Passion
Discover my top tips for how you can find and follow your own passion. You’ll hear about the outlook and choices which have helped me create You Inspire Me. Follow my journey – from turning down a place at Oxford University, through job-hopping in Australia, to training as a teacher, becoming self-employed, becoming certified as a coach, and now to running a successful full-time business which flourishes in spite of the recession.
It was a great talk, Corrina. Really confirmed my decision to quit work and find my passion and I felt you were talking just to me.– Penny Askew, Mature student

I heard you speak about a year ago in Cambridge, right at the time when I was struggling to decide about doing a PhD. You encouraged us to think about ourselves and do what makes us happy so that we can better share that happiness with the world. Now I’m a PhD student at Cambridge, living a fabulous life of learning and independence. Thanks for your work.

How To Start A Business By Accident
Many of us associate business with detailed planning and plenty of forethought. However, sometimes when a venture emerges out of our passion, it can evolve as if it has a life of its own. YOU can be the source of next steps, rather than the goal ‘over there’, and thereby create a naturally authentic vehicle for sharing your gifts.
By the end of this talk, you’ll have discovered:
* how to access your innate entrepreneurial spirit
* how simple the fundamentals of business really are
* how your natural strengths offer new possibilities for how you develop your venture
* how following your heart can bring clients, income and fulfilment
If you’re starting up a business and are feeling daunted and planned-out, this will be the boost of inspiration you need. This is also ideal for school/college Careers conferences.
