Workshop: Be The Change
Get a head-start on the entrepreneurial path
- What makes someone successful in business?
- What are the characteristics of a pioneer?
This is an experiential one-hour workshop for students at school, college or university.
Students will explore case studies of unconventional entrepreneurs who launch ventures because of their principles and ethics and with a focus on a triple bottom line: People, Planet and Profit.
We draw these case studies from the inspirational book Be The Change – 28 interviews with pioneers, by Trenna Cormack.
This one-hour workshop equips your students with an entrepreneurial mindset and gives them a head-start on a different kind of entrepreneurial path. They will discover the key qualities needed to launch a venture and to act upon inspirational ideas in order to make a difference, both now and in the future.
Corrina’s workshops have now become a popular fixture of our Sixth Form Festival. The pupils have greatly enjoyed and gained much from the activities. How she manges to get a group of teenagers to think and discuss is amazing – they now have a different perception of failure and also of entrepreneurs.
We are already looking forward to next year’s offering.
